I Am Finishing Up My Medical Assistant Program With My Associates Degree. What Kind Of Jobs Should I Look For?
I went to a medical assistant program about 2yrs ago. They now offer an associates degree program which I am currently attending now. I need to know what job should I search for?

What am I missing here? You went to school to become a Medical Assistant. Why wouldn’t you apply for a job as a Medical Assistant?
I know in my area my local medical school hires many medical assistants. Other areas:
*hospitals (you can also apply as a lab assistant….my brother’s girlfriend does that and she was a med assistant)
*physician’s office
I am a newly graduated certified pharmacy technician, and I had to learn the hard way that hospitals prefer their applicants WITH hospital experience. I am going to be volunteering at my local hospital pharmacy department in order to gain that hospital experience and hopefully get my foot in the door for future employment. You should consider volunteering at your local hospital maybe once or twice a week so that you gan get that hospital experience (that’s if you want to work in a hospital setting) and also your foot in the door with possible full-time/part-time employment.
