well i only took a couple of online courses and the benefits include:
-no need to go to classs
-a little easier (in my opinion)
-you don’t have to log on everyday
cons:
-no teacher/student interaction
-you have to teach yourself
-teachers may not be helpful

I take an on line class, I do not use gas going to class, I am in my pj’s while taking my class, and I spend time with my son, I can talk to my professors when I have a problem. It is very Convenient
